WhaT a day for WesaK Day +_+
Hari ini dAlam sejarah ... once more.... on the 22nd of May 2005, my car decided to go bonkers on me just when i had plans for a fUN and exCiting day ahead - we planned to do our video shooting for screen studies in Bukit bintang and KLCC. But since today is a wesak day - being the holy girl i am - i went to the temple first then head straight to KL after that. So there we were.... me Hsin and AudreY hopped into the car... turN my air coNd FULL BLAST... and begin out journeY. but WAIT! there were some interruption... after i draw money already Audrey decided that her lactose intolerancy is bAck after disappearing for quite some time (cuTee :P) hence we went to McD Drive thru in SS 15... thought could eat brunCh but then like not enough time.. so nevermind go KL makan. there we were driving into federal highway going to Bukit Bintang.
Guess what happens next? The aiR-conD failed us!! dah la it was blardy hOT.... the air cond tak sejuk pulak... nevermind open the window a biT then hopefully we reach there faster la.. *vrOom vRroOMMm* ThEn as we pass by the turning into Petaling Street one... i had a feeling something is amiss and so decided to check on my car's temperaTure... YUP u guessed rite... it's 5 mm away from SUPER HOT!!!! then i drove up the buKit there and saw the police department on my lefT and sWinnG into the police car park hahahaha we stopped there .. tried to open up the bonnet but like the females we are... we didn't know how LOLZ 3 of us were trying to pull the thing up then like try with all our might... cannot also. later we found out that there's actually a latch right in the middle which we're supposed to press while opening it hahahahahaha damn funNY okay... thank god when we were trying it nobody was there to witness.. After that a jolly old policeman saw us and came and ask what happened and stuff. He thought we had a case to report - car broke down case that is haha... soOooo that's when me and hsin started calling to see who can come to the rescuE. Of course at first i didn't wan to call my dad ... thought if maybe can fill in more water.. the engine wouldn't over heated and hence we can continue our journey and forget about the "mishap"... but then i start the engine... drove until the gate onlY it went up again ... *siGhh* so what else?
At first i called my mom and told her "mom, we're at Dang Wangi police station in KL."the moment i finish that sentence i felT like ngeH.. that doesn't sound rite hahahaha then she was like "WATTT!!! What u doing THERE???" after that only i said no no the car's temperature went up and i thought it's safer to pull over at a police station la.. then she was liKE oHHhhhhhhhhhhh then i talked to my dad and he sounded quite pissed about the fact that my car broke down in KL... LDP not so bad.. quite near.. this one like going to reach the heart of KL already. at first he asked me to try and drive back to subang ... if it overheats again stop.. then continue and stop and continue. i had to say okay rite? so i said okay loH.... then in my mind i was liKE shIIt what if i drive halfway and it overheats and blOW UP on me and shit. .. some more it was so HOT man... the weather has GOT to have some influence over the engine mahh... then i toLD hsin and she had thiS OHMIGOD look over her face saying i shouldn't drive back alone and stuff (now that i'm out of the situation.. that was sweeT by the waY hehehe *huGGZzz*) but then 5 minutes later i think my dad must have had the same imagination as i was (the blow up thingy) he called and say he'll come find me instead. ffuh~ what a relief hahahaha i mean come on la.. i have never handled this kinda situation before and didn't know what consequence to what action so kinDa dangerous to try and attempt anything.... So anywayz i just had to wait my dad to save the day!!!
MeanwhiLE.... hSin's roof came not long after the car overheated again and accompanied us there (more like came and "save" her actually ..aaWww so sweeT rite? :P) then that's when the situation started to sink in and we were able to accept the fact that the day is just not turning out the way we plannEd.... we craCked up hahahahaha at first me and audreY were like "entertaining" mosquitoes while hsin entertained the roOF .. then audreY started to have heat rasH ( I AM REALLY SORRY AUDREY!) then basically we were just starting to laugh for no good reason hahahaha the funniest one i could remember was when the roof was so quiet looking at my engine while all of us were cracking lame jokes.. then hsin said something abouT being oblivious to everything.. after that he said "car spoiled maa... very sad one u know..." I tell u the moment he said that i went hysterical hahahaha cuZ it was my car that spoiled and yet he's more sad and worried over the car than i am. audrey claimed it was heatstroke la hahaha but i supposed it's my way of looking at things the bright side.. by laughing hahahaha thEn muni and gaNg came with the battery water (which she said she went all over KL to find it) and i had to say gooDByeE cuz there's no way i'm gonna let my dad drive my olD junk spoiled car back while i take his car to bukit bintang...
So happen that while we were there the police's mechanic was there also and he checked here and there and said the fan isn't working which means the cooling system isn't working well then.. he so-called can make the fan work temporarily until i reach back SubanG but then since my dad is coming i told him nevermiNd la... since i don't know anything and if he replaces something and i have to pay like 200 buckS then buta buta i kena tipu... So wait for my dad.. he came look look a biT and discussed matters with the roof for a while then we left loH.. i drove my dad's car back and he drove mine while hsin and audrey went on to bukit bintang for the shooting. Came back subang to our mechanic's place.. the fella check here and there for like 1 minute only found out what's wrong already.. the Fius for the fan terbakar liaoz...and he just took out the fius which was like a tiny cube about the size of a jumbo dice, then replaced it with a
new one and TADAaaaaaaaa the car is fine +_+ cha dou man i tell u.. basically that was the main cause of our whole "adventure" laaa .. but then something was wrong with the pipe that leads to the engine also so tomorrow have to bring back to the mechanic and replace it. *siGh* now i know driving a car isn't only about DRIVING it.. have to know a bit basics to the 'Things that may go WRONG & How to overcome it 101'... Especially the car overheating shiT was damn scarY okayy.... i think i'm gonna follow dad when he goes for car servicing next time :|
